El Ottman, PT, DPT

Dr. El Ottman is a first year PhD student in the Rehabilitation Sciences doctoral program at Boston University, and a research PT in the Neuromotor Recovery Laboratory directed by Dr. Lou Awad, and is co-mentored by Dr. Terry Ellis. Her background in Kinesiology and Physical Therapy have informed her research interests in developing evidence-based neurorehabilitation interventions that support the restoration of functional mobility in neurological populations. El is investigating the utility of using neuroimaging modalities to characterize the effects of assistive and rehabilitative technologies on post-stroke walking function.
